USA and Mexico withdraw bids for Womens World Cup

The United States and Mexico have withdrawn their joint bid to host the 2027 Women's World Cup to focus on bidding for the 2031 tournament.

It means there are only two remaining bids - one from Brazil and one from Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.

A decision on a preferred host is expected to be taken at a FIFA congress in Bangkok next month.
