Kerry Convention Bureau recently showcased Kerry as a unique and inspiring business events destination to 14 influential Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Exhibition (MICE) event planners, hailing from the United Kingdom and Ireland. This was held in partnership with SITE (Society for Incentive Travel Excellence) and Fáilte Ireland. To discuss the significance of the event, we are joined by: Becky Hargrove, Manager, Kerry Convention Bureau; Catherine Carty, Kerry Ambassador and MTU Academic and UNESCO Chair; and Grace O'Shea, Business Tourism at Meet in Ireland, Fáilte Ireland.

Féile Thrá Lí/ Tralee Street Fest gets underway tomorrow. It’ll provide street and family entertainment to coincide with the International Rose of Tralee Festival. Kerry County Council, Tralee Chamber Alliance, Tralee Vintners, the town’s wider business community and Fáilte Ireland organised the event in 10 weeks after the Rose of Tralee International Festival announced it wouldn’t be providing street entertainment this year. Jerry spoke to Jean Foley, Tralee Municipal District Officer with Kerry County Council, and Mark Sullivan who’s with Tralee Vintners and Tralee Chamber Alliance and is general manager of The Rose Hotel.
