Kerry's Live Register has fallen by 30% in a year.
That's according to the latest figures for April from the Central Statistics Office.
Last month, 6,140 people in Kerry signed on the Live Register.
That's down 30% compared to April 2020 when 8,848 people were on the Live Register in the county.
It marks a monthly decrease of 3.4% (216 people) compared to March.
All seven social welfare offices in the county report monthly drops.
Tralee has the largest decrease of 116 to 2,781.
Listowel falls 47 to 1,110 and 23 fewer people signed on in Killarney giving it a total of 1,075.
Killorglin is down 15 to 407, Dingle drops 10 to 369 and there are slight drops in Kenmare (-3) to 184 and Caherciveen (-2) to 214.
