Tralee Save the Green committee gathers to mark historical event

The Save the Green committee is gathering in Tralee today.

This is to mark the 100th anniversary of an historic event in the town.

In February 1923, Tralee Urban District Council lodged the deeds to build houses and an open recreation area for townspeople on the Green in Tralee.

The group will gather at the Denny Street gates of the town park at 12pm, all are welcome to attend.
