The highest temperature recorded in Kerry yesterday was just 22 degrees.

That’s according to Met Éireann’s weather data. 22.1 degrees Celsius was the maximum temperature recorded at Valentia weather station yesterday, while the coolest it got in Valentia was just under 14 degrees.

The highest temperature recorded by Met Éireann nationally was in Roscommon, where it reached 29.3 degrees at the Mount Dillon weather station.
