Premier League clubs have voted in principle to introduce a spending cap.
The limit won't be on what an individual player can be paid but how much a team can spend on total squad costs.
Any changes would replace the current financial rules that have seen Everton and Nottingham Forest deducted points this season.

A final vote on details will be in June.
