Former Down goalkeeper Charlie Smyth says it feels "surreal" to be moving to the NFL to play for the New Orleans Saints.
The 22-year-old signed a three year deal after impressing on the International Player Pathway programme.
Smyth says he can't wait to transfer his skills to a new sport.
