Valentia Coastguard leads multi-agency rescue of fallen hiker on Mount Brandon

The coastguard at Valentia is coordinating a rescue on Mount Brandon.

They received a call that a male hiker had fallen on the west Kerry mountain, at around ten to two this afternoon.

Gardaí, Dingle Coastguard, Kerry Mountain Rescue and Rescue Helicopter 115 are all still involved in the active rescue operation.
