A sanitisation expert is warning small and medium firms in Kerry to raise the bar on providing clean air when staff return to the offices.
David Byrne, Managing Director of Irish firm Sanity System, says people's safety expectations have grown after 15 months of hand hygiene and social distancing.
He adds there is a major onus on the almost 9,000 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Kerry to provide clean air for staff and customers.
Mr Byrne claims there's been a 200% increase in enquiries on Sanity System's own air purifier devices since the return of retail, and hundreds of enquiries are now coming in from bars and restaurants.
