New car sales in Kerry up 15%

The number of cars sold in Kerry in the first five months of the year is up 15%.

The Society of the Irish Motor Industry says 1,345 new cars were sold in the county between January and May.

That's up from 1,168 during the same period in 2020.

Kerry holds a 2.2% share of the national market.
