Plaque unveiled to commemorate location of St. Joseph’s Industrial School, Tralee

A plaque has been unveiled to mark the location of St. Joseph’s Industrial School in Tralee.

Cllr. Terry O’Brien, Mayor of Tralee and elected members of Tralee Municipal District unveiled the plaque this morning on the boundary wall of Holy Family School on the Caherslee Road.

This follows an agreement between elected members of Tralee MD that the site of the industrial school be acknowledged in this way.
