A Kerry venue is to receive up to €15,000 in the Grassroots Music Venues Support Scheme.
33 venues nationwide have been approved to share in the €500,000 night-time economy supports, as announced by Arts Minister Patrick O’Donovan.
Mike The Pies in Listowel is among the 16 venues outside of Ireland’s major cities to benefit from the scheme.

The award-winning pub was recognised for its strong track record of regularly holding ticketed grassroots music events, and showcasing emerging artists performing original music.
The announcement has been welcomed by Fine Gael Senator Mike Kennelly.
