Company operating Aqua Dome in Tralee calls EGM as part of business restructuring

The company operating the Aqua Dome in Tralee has called an emergency general meeting (EGM) as part of its business restructuring.

The meeting is expected to formally close down Aevin PLC, formerly Tralee Waterworld PLC.

Aevin PLC's business, including employees and assets, was transferred to Tralee Aquadome Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) in November 2024.

The restructuring recognised the Aqua Dome as a community enterprise.

This allows it avail of grant supports for voluntary organisations, charities, not-for-profit entities, and sports clubs.

The EGM will be held at the Rose Hotel on Monday, 27 July at 5pm.
