The new Chair of Kerry IFA believes farmers are being scapegoated in the climate change debate.

Kenny Jones, a dairy farmer from Kielduff outside Tralee, says a lot of farms are carbon neutral.

He says a proper debate can only be had when the emissions of each farm are examined.

Mr Jones says farmers are not getting enough credit for the measures being implemented on farms including protecting water courses and more environmentally friendly methods of slurry spreading:
