Representatives for two Kerry golf courses recently took part in the International Association of Golf Tour Operators convention.

Delegates for Ballybunion Golf Course and SWING Golf Ireland in Tralee joined eight other Irish golf and tourism operators in Cancun, Mexico.

The two-day event involved one-to-one pre-scheduled appointments and networking sessions.

Head of Global Partnership for Tourism Ireland Aisling McDermott said, the event was an a opportunity to negotiate new business and secure international golf visitors.
