Integrating all aspects of the healthcare system is key to delivering the standard of care patients deserve.
That's according to the newly retired, now-former general manager of University Hospital Kerry (UHK), Mary Fitzgerald.
She says that, at present, the different sectors of the health services, operate like independent silos, and are unaware of one another's work.
