Residents of a Killarney centre for people with disabilities have an active and meaningful life.
That’s among the findings of an inspection of Killarney Residential Services which is run by the Kerry Parents and Friends Association.
The Health Information and Quality Authority carried out an unannounced inspection on June 13th.
It found the centre was complaint across 14 areas of the Health Act 2007 and substantially compliant in two areas - individual assessment and personal plan, as well as in the protection category.
The inspector found all residents had access and opportunities to engage in activities and they were supported to develop personal goals.
