The EU Foreign Policy Chief will discuss Aughinish Alumina with the Taoiseach this week.
Kaja Kallas is in Dublin tomorrow, where the County Limerick refinery and exports of alumina will be on the agenda.
The Russian-owned plant has been in the spotlight, as some EU countries and MEPs are pushing to have the firm included in the next package of sanctions on Moscow.
