Taoiseach says government examining if materials from Aughinish Aluminia used in war in Ukraine

The Taoiseach says he would have concerns if materials from an Aughinish Alumina plant in West Limerick ended up being used in the war in Ukraine.

He made the comments ahead of an EU summit in Montenegro.

The Russian owned facility - which is a significant employer in North Kerry and West Limerick - has been in the spotlight amid pressure from some European countries and MEPs to include the firm in sanctions imposed by the EU on Russia.
