21 patients on trolleys in UHK

21 patients are on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation says nationally 379 admitted patients are waiting for beds in hospitals today.

85 people are waiting in University Hospital Limerick; that’s the highest daily figure for any hospital since the start of the pandemic.

Between Monday and Friday last week, 76 patients spent time on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry.
