Woman who died in N22 crash named

The woman who died following a crash on the N22 Tralee to Killarney road has been named.

Dympna Wynne, who was in her 80s and lived in Killarney, was a passenger in a car which was in collision with another at Dunrine near Lawlor’s Cross around 4.15 on Wednesday afternoon.

She was pronounced dead at University Hospital Kerry a short time later.

The other two occupants of the car remain in hospital while the driver of the second car has been released from UHK.

Gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the crash to come forward especially those with dash cam footage.
