Fires 2-16 Brosna 1-13
The vistors opened the scoring with a point from play in the 5th minutes but Firies replied immediately with a well taken goal from TJ Palmer. Firies dominated major sections of the first half and maintained the lead provided by the early goal. Just before the small whistle, Firies scored their second goal following a great run from Jake Flynn through the heart of the Brosna defence and he finished expertly to the back of the net. This proved a great cushion for the home side at half time; Firies 2-09 Brosna 0-07. Brosna came out the quicker out of the dressing rooms for the second half and got the opening 2 scores, but Firies responded with a point of their own to maintain a 7-point lead after 45 minutes. Brosna finally got a goal of their own from Darren Horan with 10 minutes left to keep the pressure on the home side but Firies showed great heart and responded with 3 points on the bounce. Brosna scored the final point of the game.

Ardfert 1-17 Cromane 1-15
Ardfert, playing with the wind, had the better start with points from Earnán Ferris & Fionán Horgan and a goal from Jordan Brick within the first 5 minutes. Cromane got off the mark with a pointed free from Darren Houlihan, who kicked some great points over the course of the game. Jordan Brick pointed from play before another pointed free for Cromane. 2 more Ardfert points followed from Jordan Brick and Robert Monahan before Cromane got their first from play, leaving the score after 15 minutes Ardfert 1-05 to Cromane’s 3 points. Jordan got his 3rd point of the day which was followed by another well taken free from Cromane’s Darren Houlihan. David Griffin got his first point in the 23rd minute to give Ardfert a 6 point lead. Cromane were awarded a penalty in the 26th minute, which was duly converted by Darren Houlihan. Nathan O’Driscoll pointed a free for Ardfert followed by a great save from Ardfert goalkeeper Nicholas O’Sullivan in the final minute of the half. The resulting 45 was kicked wide to leave the half-time score Ardfert 1-08 Cromane 1-04.
The 2nd half started with a couple of wides for both sides before Earnán forced a great save from Cromane keeper Sean Teahan, who knocked it over the bar. There were points from Cromane’s Liam Joy & Jason O’Connor as well as Ardfert’s Trevor Wallace. Cromane were really getting into their stride and Danny O’Shea, who had moved into the forward line, was causing problems for Ardfert’s defence. Cromane scored 6 of the next 8 points. A pointed free from Darren Houlihan in the 20th minute left it all square at 1-12 apiece. Both sides exchanged scores leaving it level with 2 minutes remaining. Late scores from Ardfert’s Nathan O’Driscoll, Robert Monahan and John Egan secured a good win for Ardfert.

1-5 Keel V Castlegregory GAA Club 0-9
Keel opened the scoring in the second minute with a point from Lachlan Griffin. Castlegregory replied in the sixth minute with a point from a 45 and they added another shortly after from a free 14 meters out from goals. Darragh O Dowd levelled up matters when he slotted one between the posts for the home side. Keel went on the attack again and it was Thomas Ladden who drove at the heart of the Castlegregory defence which resulted in him being fouled. Shane Evans converted the free to make it three points to two in favour of the home side after 18 minutes. Alan Fitzgerald got his name on the scoresheet in the 24th minute with a point from 45 meters out. Castlegregory pointed another in the 26th minute to give them a one-point advantage. Shane Evans replied with one for this side before Castlegregory pointed the final score of the half. Keel 0-04 Castlegregory 0-05.

Castlegregory had the first attack of the second half, but this effort trailed to the left of the posts. Castlegregory had another opportunity to attack when they won the kick out and were awarded a free for a foul on their centre back. Keel were reduced to 14 men due to this foul which left Keel supporters perplexed. Castlegregory failed to convert the awarded free. Thomas Ladden won the kick out and the Keel defence and midfield moved the ball quickly up the field. Lachlan Griffin supplied the ball to Aaron Cahillane who found himself in front of goals, but his effort was blocked by the Castlegregory goalkeeper. However Aodhán Murphy collected the rebound and stuck it in the back of the Castlegregory net. After four minutes into the second half, it was Keel 1-04, Castlegregory 0-05. Keel had the opportunity to increase their lead, but their efforts were unsuccessful. Before long Castlegregory levelled the game with two points. Keel had three more opportunities to kick at the posts, but these efforts failed to go between the two uprights. However, in the 29th minute David Couchman pointed from play to give Keel a one-point advantage. Castlegregory responded quickly and drove straight at the Keel defence, and they were awarded a free 21 meters out from goals. The winning point came in the 33rd minute from the Castlegregory midfielder Alan Fitzgerald.
