A number of young people from Kerry were among those recognised for their achievements at the annual National Garda Youth Awards.
25 exceptional young people aged 13-21 who have positively contributed to their community were recognised at the ceremony today.
It featured young people from the county who were previously honoured at the Lee Strand Kerry Garda Youth Achievement Awards in September.
16-year-old Rebecca O’Sullivan from Tuosist was the overall winner of the Lee Strand Kerry Garda Youth Achievement Awards 2025.
Today Rebecca received the Individual Award Spotlight for her tireless fundraising efforts for “Training with the Stars”, as well as the care she gives to her two brothers with complex additional needs.
Conor and Gary O’Sullivan helped save the life of their older brother, Seán, who collapsed at home due to a previously un-diagnosed genetic heart condition.
