Work on securing UNESCO World Heritage status for the Transatlantic Cable Ensemble is continuing with the final draft of paperwork due to be ready by the beginning of next year.

The process takes a number of years to complete once the final draft of paperwork has been completed.

The 10th annual Valentia Lecture is underway on Valentia Island.
