Kerry's two public vaccination centres will begin vaccinating people in the 65 to 69 age group from this morning.

Vaccination at the centres is by appointment only and only people who have received a confirmed appointment from the HSE should attend.

People are advised to bring photo ID and details of their PPS number with them to their appointment.

Both centres have already been used to vaccinate people in cohort 4 in the Governments Vaccine Allocation Groups, which is people with an underlying condition putting them at severe risk.

They will continue to be used as the vaccination roll out moves through the different groups.

Appointments can be made online at hse.ie or by ringing 1850 24 1850.
