Teenager with Kerry for Sam sign at hurling final explains show of support

The teenage boy who held a "Kerry for Sam" sign behind the Tipperary hurling captain as he accepted the Liam McCarthy Cup has been speaking about his show of support.

17-year- old JJ McCarthy is from Co. Meath but is an avid Kerry supporter.

He credits his late grandfather Jeremiah McCarthy from Sneem for passing on the passion for Kerry GAA to him and his father.
