Clarity is still needed on the situation for SNAs going forward.
That’s according to Jackie Coffey, special needs assistant in Fossa National School.
Fossa NS was one of a number of Kerry schools which had been due to lose SNAs for the next school year, before the government’s announcement that no SNA cuts would be taking place this year.

Jackie Coffey welcomed the government’s announcement, but said the protest planned for Market Cross in Killarney at 5pm tomorrow will still go ahead, as clarity is needed.
