Shannon Airport is expecting passenger surge during the August Bank Holiday Weekend

Shannon Airport is warning of a passenger surge this August Bank Holiday Weekend.

They’re expecting almost 60,000 people to pass through its doors, a 10% increase from this time last year.

They advise for travellers to arrive 2 hours before a short-haul flight and 3 hours before a long haul flight.

Passengers are also recommend to book parking in advance through the Shannon Airport website.
