Proposed developments to Killorglin town have been approved after facing significant criticism.
Kerry County Council received over 100 submissions from residents and local businesses, which were raised at the recent Kenmare Municipal District meeting.
Some of the main concerns include loss of parking and traffic congestion.
The revised plans will result in a loss of 10 parking spaces in the town, compared to a loss of 26 spaces in the original plans.
Two way traffic will also remain on Market Street, after locals raised concerns over the proposal of a one-way system.
