President Catherine Connolly continued her visit through the Kingdom yesterday.
This is part of the President's first official visit to the county since she took office last November.
On Friday President Connolly was in Ballybunion for the "What if we were Brilliant?" event organised by the Brilliant Ballybunion group, before going south to Iveragh for the launch of Éigse na Brídeoige.
Yesterday morning the President visited the Torc Community and Resource Centre in Ballyspillane, before traveling to Recovery Haven in Tralee.
During her visit, President Connolly took time to meet with those who use Recovery Haven’s services, as well as the dedicated volunteers and staff.
She also planted a tree in the grounds of Recovery Haven, symbolising the challenging seasons of life alongside moments of renewal and hope.
She also met with child and adolescent therapist Edel Lawlor to discuss her role in helping young people understand their own cancer journey through storytelling and play.
President Connolly concluded her day of visits in Teach Siamsa in Fingue yesterday afternoon.
