Over 10,000 parking fines issued in Kerry during 2021

There were over 10,000 parking fines issued in Kerry during 2021.

Kerry County Council, which owns and operates the public car parks in the county, can impose graduated fines for illegal parking.

10,243 fines issued by the council during January-November resulted in income of €323,000.

Excluding fines, the council generated €1.75 million during 2021 in car parking charges.
