Mayor of Tralee says authorities need to plan for crowds ahead of bank holiday

The Mayor of Tralee says the county needs to plan to accommodate people socialising outdoors.

The comments follow scenes in Dublin, Cork and Galway where large crowds gathered over the weekend.

Labour councillor Terry O'Brien says the authorities were caught off-guard by the sheer size of the numbers and will need to plan for the upcoming June Bank Holiday weekend.
