A man has appeared in court in Cork charged in connection with the seizure of €100,000 worth of drugs in Killarney.
32-year-old Kristian Masiak of Killarney town, faces six charges, alleging the possession of cocaine, cannabis, and amphetamines, and possession of the same drugs for sale or supply.
Cork City District Court was told the total estimated value of the drugs is €100,000.
Mr Masiak's solicitor, Pádraig O'Connell, objected to his address being given in court and so an eircode was given instead.
Mr Masiak was granted bail, subject to conditions including that he surrenders his passport and signs on at Killarney Garda station weekly.
Mr Masiak was remanded on bail to Killarney District Court tomorrow for DPP directions.
Legal aid was granted to Mr O'Connell, as the court heard Mr Masiak is on illness benefit.
