A book telling the stories of Kerry’s Ukrainian community will be launched in Listowel this afternoon.
Our New Friends From Ukraine to Ireland has been written and compiled by Luke Kindelan.
The book launch will take place in Kerry Writers’ Museum at 3pm.

Acclaimed author Róisín Meaney will launch Mr Kindelan’s book which is described as a tribute to the resilience of Ukrainians and a testament to the warmth of the Irish.
