Killarney Circuit Court moves to Limerick for criminal trial due to COVID restrictions

The state has granted permission to move Circuit Court trials, which involve a jury, from Killarney to Limerick Courthouse due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Sittings of Killarney Circuit Court scheduled for three weeks beginning on July 13th will be heard at Limerick Courthouse, where more space is available.

This is the first criminal trial that was due to be heard at Killarney Court since the pandemic began.
