Kerry's Live Register has fallen by over a third in a year.
That's according to the latest CSO data.
In May, 5,851 people signed on the Live Register in Kerry.
That's down almost 34% compared to the same month last year when 8,848 people were signing on.
It marks a monthly drop of nearly 5% compared to April's figure (6,140).
The largest monthly decrease in Kerry's seven social welfare offices is reported in Killarney at 129; the total in the office in May was 946.
Tralee drops 61 to 2,720 and there's a decrease of 39 in Listowel to 1,071.
Dingle and Kenmare drop around 20 to stand at 349 and 163 respectively.
There was a fall of 15 in Killorglin to 392 and a slight drop (4) in Caherciveen brings its figure to 210.
