Labour's Niamh Hourigan calls for decisive action on housing at EU level

European institutions must take decisive action in tackling Ireland's escalating housing crisis.

That's according to Labour’s European candidate for Ireland South, Niamh Hourigan, who says tackling the housing crisis is one of her campaign priorities.

If elected, Ms Hourigan says she plans to lobby for the regulation of the European housing market, and to change EU fiscal rules to enable an ambitious housing investment progamme.
