Kerry Social Farming has been shortlisted for a national sustainability award.
Kerry Social Farming offers long-term social farming opportunities to people with disabilities to achieve improved quality of life, greater inclusion and community networking.
The initiative has been shortlisted in the RDS Sustainability Awards in the Rural Social Impact Award category, which aims to celebrate not-for-profit or voluntary rural groups and organisations that are promoting or supporting the sustainable economic and societal development of their local community.
The winners will be announced at an event in the RDS on April 9th.
