The five Rose Escorts from Kerry raised almost €3,000 for a suicide prevention charity with a coffee morning last week.
Kevin Ross, Simon Corridon, Daithí Fitzgerald, Ethan O’Connor & Connor O’Donoghue are five Kerry men who will be Rose Escorts in this year’s Rose of Tralee International Festival.
They’ve launched a campaign to raise money for Youth Suicide Prevention Ireland, which helps to provide mental health education, suicide prevention programmes, and crisis support for young people.
The five Kerry Rose Escorts raised €2,800 from a coffee morning at Kirby’s Brogue Inn in Tralee on Friday, with all proceeds going directly to the charity.
The men will also be climbing Carrauntoohil and doing a skydive to raise more funds for the charity in the coming weeks.
