Kerry people reminded to never click on suspicious links in texts or emails

People in Kerry are being reminded to never click on suspicious links or engage with suspicious messages from unknown numbers.

Regional Chief Superintendent for the Southern Garda Region, Colm O’Sullivan says 2025 saw a spike in online and phone scams across the country.

Some people in Kerry have been defrauded of tens-of-thousands of euro last year, with a number of individuals having their life savings cleared.
