The Kerry branch of the Irish Farmers' Association has joined a national campaign showcasing the people behind food production.
The joint campaign being run by Agri Aware and the IFA aims to raise awareness about the importance of Irish agriculture and the critical role it plays in the economy and society.
Chair of Kerry IFA, Kenny Jones recently erected the first of three farmer billboards in the county on the farm of Con O'Connor.

Mr Jones said throughout the pandemic Irish farmers continued to produce top-quality nutritious food which in turn supported the economy.
He said the IFA wants the vibrant family-farm model to stay and the campaign will bring these families to the fore and allow them tell their stories.
