Kerry councillor calling for income threshold for social housing and housing assistance support to be changed

A Kerry County Councillor is calling for the income threshold to qualify for social housing and housing assistance support to be changed.

Sinn Féin councillor Deirdre Ferris raised the issue at the monthly meeting of Kerry County Council.

She’s asking the council to write to all Oireachtas members requesting that they petition the income threshold to be a minimum of €50,000, given the current housing crisis.
