All eyes are on Jessie Buckley this weekend, as she looks set to become the first Irish woman to be awarded the Best Actress Oscar.

The Killarney woman has been on a winning streak this awards season, picking up Critic's Choice, Golden Globe, IFTA, BAFTA and Actors Awards for her role of Agnes Shakespeare in Hamnet.

The 36-year-old actress looks poised to be the first woman to earn an acting Oscar since Brenda Fricker won for Best Supporting Actress in 1993's My Left Foot.
