An Ireland South MEP believes the sinking of a migrant ship off the coast of Greece could have been avoided.
MEP Grace O'Sullivan, who represents Kerry, says help was not provided to the stricken vessel until it was too late.
The UN says about 500 people are still unaccounted for.
