IDA Ireland has welcomed the commitment by Astellas to deliver €129 million in its Irish operations in Kerry and Dublin over the next three years.
Astellas is one of Japan’s largest life sciences companies and a leading developer and manufacturer of pharmaceutical products globally.
The global pharmaceutical company is currently building a new state-of-the-art €330 million facility in Tralee and has an existing facility in Killorglin.
CEO of IDA Ireland Michael Lohan says this investment by Astellas is a strong endorsement of Ireland’s reputation as a global centre of excellence in life sciences.
