A Listowel man has been nominated as a High Court judge.
The Government has decided to nominate Séamus Given, who’s a partner at corporate law firm Arthur Cox.
Mr Given has more than 30 years’ experience in employment and industrial relations law.
He’s also an expert in crisis management, and dealing with whistleblowing and protected disclosures.
Séamus Given began his career as a lawyer for Telecom Éireann in 1985 before moving to Arthur Cox in 1992.
The Government also agreed to nominate senior counsels Michael Conlon and Cathleen Noctor as High Court judges.
