Specsavers Kerry is issuing a final call for young storytellers to enter their short story competition.
The initiative celebrates Specsaver’s sponsorship of the Junior and Senior Children's Book of the Year categories at the An Post Irish Book Awards.
Winners will receive a collection of all titles shortlisted in the category and €500 for their school library.

To enter, children can submit a short story no longer than 500 words.
The closing date for entries is Wednesday 7th January.
