Fianna Fáil candidate wants asthma patients included in medical scheme

Fianna Fáil general election candidate Michael Cahill says asthma patients should be included in the Long Term Illness Scheme.

This would mean they'd automatically qualify for a medical card.

Cllr Cahill says asthma is a debilitating disease for many; he believes the cost of medicines to treat the condition properly can be very expensive.
