€32,000 has been awarded to Kerry-based organisations to promote EU awareness under the 2025 Communicating Europe Initiative.
The Munster Technological University and Flúirse Education Solutions, an international education and training company founded in Tralee, will each receive €10,000.
The North Kerry Environmental Forum will get €7,000 and IRD Duhallow, a rural development company which serves both Kerry and Cork, is to receive €5,000.
Minister for Children, Disability and Equality Norma Foley, Fianna Fáil TD Michael Cahill and Fine Gael Senator Mike Kennelly have welcomed the announcement.
