Kerry County Council will explore developing a river walk in a Mid Kerry village.
It follows a motion by Fine Gael councillor Tommy Griffin at the recent Castleisland-Corca Dhuibhne MD meeting.
He urged the council to develop a loop walk around the riverbank in Castlemaine.

In response the council advised it will engage with relevant departments to examine the feasibility of the project.
The motion was seconded by Fianna Fáil councillor Breandán Fitzgerald.
